Vinyl Project gifts

Here are a few of the projects I did the week before I left home.  I love the heat transfer vinyl!  It is so easy to use.

Vinyl Decorated Cups

I ordered these cups off of amazon and love them because the lids screw on and the straws don't come out!  They are perfect for the kids to drink their fruit smoothies out of.  So we decided to decorate them with some outdoor vinyl.  Lilly picked the colors and shapes and helped stick on the stickers!

Vinyl for Van and Truck

My father is retiring this june and has decided to be a handyman and actually get paid for it.  So I offered to do the lettering for his vehicles with my Cricut.  I had my friend that owns the silhouette cameo cut out the logo since my Cricut won't do that, and I think it turned out pretty good, and a hell of a lot cheaper then him having to pay for somebody to do it.  I ordered the vinyl from expressions vinyl and it was cheap!

Here are two of the projects I did recently

I took pictures and mod podged them to a canvas, then cut out vinyl letters and stuck them on the pictures.

I cut out this vinyl saying for a friend for her wall, and slapped the remainder of the vinyl up under my kids pics.  I have to say the Cricut makes doing this soooo easy!

Plastic Spoon Rose and Amaretto Bottle Vase

Loving this Tutorial (can't stop making things)!  These flowers are so easy and really pretty!  I made the flower and then placed it with my hot glue gun on an amaretto bottle I had cleaned up.  Then for Valentines Day I cut some red vinyl out and put LOVE on the bottle.   The only thing I had an issue with is making the petals stick together by melting them over the candle, since I got tired of getting it together and then it breaking apart I got out the hot glue gun and then it worked like a charm!  So I would suggest using a glue gun to assemble the spoons once they are melted.

Valentine's Day Crafts

Used the cricut to cut out vinyl then stuck it on a tile

This wreath was easy.  I cut all the hearts out with the cricut , then hot glued them on.  The instructions are here.  The only change was she says to cut 5 small red hearts, but we needed 6, and I added some extra hearts to the second one i made.

 Heart Crayons  - I peeled the broken crayon pieces in the house, chopped them up and filled the tray with the pieces.  A razor cuts the paper back fast and easy. 230 degrees for 20 minutes.

Vinyl Cricut Baby plaques

I made a few signs for some friends babies.  

For the one above I took a plain canvas,drilled holes in it, painted mod podge all over it and let it dry, then cut out the name, date and caterpillar from Vinyl with my cricut and stuck it on.

this was a quickie for me, I had my kids each place a hand print on a sheet of card stock, then cut their names and ages from vinyl and stuck them on it and threw it in a frame.

For the one above I took a plain canvas,drilled holes in it, painted it with acrylic paint then mod podge all over it and let it dry, then cut out the name, date from Vinyl with my cricut and the caterpillar from scrapbook paper and stuck it on.  I went over the caterpillar with mod podge.
